Shruti Saraswat was born in a small town of western UP, India. After doing her engineering and work for an automation company, she moved to Ireland to get her master’s degree. She never thought where her future passion would take her. Among others, one of the hobbies of her father used to be photography. She had seen the camera up-and-close during her childhood but she had never thought that she would pursue it with so much passion in the time to come. She moved to Helsinki, Finland later. Here, looking at her photos from her phone she was encouraged by her husband to pursue photography seriously. She trained in street photography, portraits and nature walks. She collaborated with local photographers and went on trips around Europe to pursue her passion. She now lives in Rochester, MN and hopes to be back soon to advance her hobby into a career.
